To further advance our commitment to serving in the name of Christ faithfully, we look forward to adding a new Tenure Track Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching primarily undergraduate accounting courses and some MBA courses in both classroom and online environments to both traditional and nontraditional students. Additional responsibilities include providing academic advising and curriculum development. A successful candidate must articulate a Christian worldview in one's teaching and academic discipline and fully support the University Vision, Mission, and Statement of Faith.
Institutional Position:
Despite the challenges of COVID-19, the University is in a solid position for the future because of a record enrollment of 4,900 students, operating budget financial strength as well as significant cash reserves, and innovative and diverse academic programs that will provide multiple income streams after COVID-19.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting is required (CPA preferred), with specializations in Audit, Tax, Advanced Information Systems, and Data Analytics. In addition, the candidate must show a commitment to ministering to both traditional and nontraditional students in their lives, academics, and careers.

Compensation and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University supplements major medical insurance. A 403b retirement plan is available for eligible employees to contribute pre-tax dollars with Belhaven University matching up to 8% of annual salary. A generous relocation allowance is included.
