The Administrator is expected to oversee the daily operations of support services at Health System, including development of annual goals and objections that lead to improved performance in service, operations, quality and patient satisfaction. The Health System departments include the following departments: Language Services, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Biomedical Engineering and Patient Equipment, Linen Services, Facilities and Ambassador Services (transporters).

Ability to build and manage relationships with a variety of individuals and institutions; strategic and business planning, goal setting and implementation, executing plans, mediation, conflict resolution, and consensus-building. Entrepreneurial spirit; creativity, proactive system thinking. Exceptional communication skills. Ability to relate well to diverse professional, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups. Substantial financial acumen. Knowledge and understanding of state and federal programs and regulations related to Medicaid, Medicare, Chip, and DSH, as well as contract management. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that quality care is provided and develops a systemic quality and safety programs. Establishes internal controls for effective operation of areas of responsibility.  
• Develops business plans and programs to develop the service areas.  
• Operates support services of Health System in a high quality and profitable manner.  
• Interfaces with contracts and to enhance operations.  
• Develops budgets, financial plans, strategic plans, marketing plans, facility plans, and other programs necessary for successful operation Health System support departments.

Education & Experience:

Master's degree in business, health administration, or public health administration and five (5) years of hospital operations.
