The agency manages an investment portfolio of over $34 billion with approximately 35 external investment managers managing over 60 portfolios. The Investment Accounting Department is responsible for investment accounting for securities.

Duties include, but are not limited to - 

-           supervision of five investment accountants

-           communication with external parties and agency staff

-           oversight of investment reporting in the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report

Preferred skills, knowledge, and qualifications:

           -           strong analytical skills

            -           extensive knowledge of accounting theory

            -           attention to detail (required for accurate reporting of financial information, informed decision making and efficient problem solving)

            -           Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
