Functions administrative duties to include analysis and reporting of complex financial data and reports to support reimbursement methodologies; performs in role to ensure proper reporting and regulatory compliance to include cost reporting, general ledger, and expense/invoice review; serves on standing and ad hoc committees relative to budgeting, reimbursement, and finance; assists with cost reporting and charge description master in accordance with Medicare billing and regulations. Responsible for training others in area of expertise.
Bachelor-level degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, preferred. 1-2 years experience in healthcare, preferably. Proficiency in use of sophisticated software programs with proven advanced analytical and modeling skills. Working knowledge of regulatory practices and procedures related to healthcare finance. Presentation and teaching skills necessary to lead others and serve as resource of expertise.
